Matomo is a global Google Analytics alternative providing users with 100% data ownership for an ethical solution. With their 15 year anniversary approaching, the founders were after a promotional video that told the Matomo story and journey so far. With the company's team based all around the world, we had to think cleverly as to how to visually represent the company and brand with a global audience, without the physical presence of a team.
Through a discovery session we learnt every detail about Matomo’s story so far to develop a video script and storyboard for the day. With our DOP and team we produced a one day shoot weaving the story together on location. Final footage was overlaid with motion graphics to bring facets of the brand identity through into the final delivery. The result was a polished promotional video that has been so successful that it has also been used for digital marketing in the UK.
